VIBRANT SPIRIT FILLED GATHERINGS:
Every Sunday at 7:30 a.m. Lively Music, Praise/Worship. Dance, Drama and congregational participation. Definitely not quiet. Exciting and meaningful. Preaching and Teaching on subjects causing growth and development.Nothing Held back.
PRAYER WITH POWER:
Tuesday nights 7p.m. Exhortation , worship, praise and Prayer. We're open to Intercession, Warfare and whatever else the Spirit directs. Patterened according to the King's dictates. Every gathering is different.We anoint with oil.
COVENANT GATHERINGS:
Folk meet in small groups wherever we have partners.These are in covenant relationship with us. Our zone pastors with Leaders shepherd this flock. Group discussion and participation is encouraged. A wonderful family unity prevails.
It gives everyone a sense of belonging.
TRAINING AND EQUIPPING:
This day requires those who are equipped. A Bible School designed for to-day is in operation. Unlike the orthodox schools, this is Apostolic in character. It deals with truths normally ignored and bypassed. We are serious about proper training of leaders. In 2004 the school opens it's doors to the public.More information on application.
COUNSELLING/PRAYER:
The local church is open daily between 8:30 and 4 p.m. Trained personnel are in attendance to counsel and pray with you. In addition the telephone lines are a means of contact.We have experienced great miracles. All areas of need are dealt with. Specialists in almost every field are available.Nothing is spared to achieve a good result.
RADIO:
A weekly program is aired on HIWAY RADIO a local Christian Radio Station. Current topics are taught and prayer participation is encouraged. The program is called "HOPE TO CARRY ON." Twice daily a "Daily Devotion" is also aired on this station.The frequency is 101.5fm.
BOOKS TAPES AND LITERATURE:
Several books have been published and are available from our book department. A Daily devotion running in conjunction with the Radio Devotions is also published. Copies are available on request. CD Recordings of In House Services and Radio Programs are available.
CONVENTIONS AND CRUSADES:
These are held on a regular basis. Annually, our local church erects a 5000 seater marquee to hold it's celebrations. These are not to be missed events. In addition to this THE APOSTLE holds translocal meetings in every part of the city and country with participating churches.These Spirit filled gatherings recharge local congragations and spur them on. Day time teaching sessions are also held. Book now for a convention in your area. The calendar for 2004 is fast filling up. Acompany of Apostles and Prophets travel with the team. This is one of our most exciting areas.
CHILDREN'S AND YOUTH MINISTRIES:
Both are held. The kids program runs concurrently with the main church service. Our youth meet on one evening. These ministries are constantly revisited in order to become the best. Relevant issues are dealt with. Dance, drama, music and fun are all in order. Very attractive.
WOMEN OF ZION:
The gathering of the women of prayer, praise and worship. These know how to touch heaven. They hold back nothing. The word is shared in true apostolic tradition and prayer is biblically patterned. A source of great encouragement to the local church and the city. These are blessed of the Lord.
MEN ON THE MOVE:
Encouraging men to become the Priest of the home, good husbands and sucessful bread winners.They often take the meeting out of the local house. Young men are ready to attend. The fathers are offering help , advice and prayer.They are mighty men on the rise.
FEEDING AND FOOD DISTRIBUTION:
Each week on a Friday 500 plates of well cooked hot meals are served outside the building in the business complex. For many this is the only meal for the week end. They are served with great care and love. The meals are prepared on the premises. All the foodstuff is donated by congregants and well wishers. The need is great but this can only be done once per week as supplies are not readily available. About 50 food parcels are donated monthly to the poor and needy. Here too, the demand is greater than the supply.
